About Us

Welcome! My family and I opened Rockport in 1995 so area seniors could have an affordable alternative to living alone. We started out as a retirement community, but as our residents aged in place, it became apparent that a little extra care was now needed.

Since February of 2009, we are a licensed facility offering our residents Independent or Assisted Living options. This allows our residents to age in place, as customized assistance can be added without having to move to another facility. You can stay in your new home, with your new family, and never have to move again.

And speaking of family, we're still proud to be family-owned, operated and managed on a daily basis. Many of our staff members have been with us since those early days, and we think of them as family, too. We take good care of our staff and in return, they care for our residents like their own family.

Come by for a visit sometime and see for yourself why Rockport is one of the most affordable and social communities on the west side of Cleveland. You may even catch me in the lobby chatting with some of my many extended family members!

Rockport offers the Medicaid waiver program. This means as our residents age in place and need additional services, they have the option of applying for Medicaid assistance.
